A Few Words About This Blog:
I really wish I could take more credit for the genesis of my second blog, but alas I cannot: a friend of mine told me about a time when he and other men were throwing out challenges of who or what they liked better. It got passionate, it got heated, and there were some serious fans out there. If we want I have a few rules before I can really get started:
1) The players have to be on equal footing which means there will not be any apple / oranges comparisons. If we seek to determine the best, we must only consider that which is comparable.
2) We will compare each thing at their absolute peak, and then the intangibles. Even if one person had a shorter peak that burned higher, that must factor in.
3) I will take an objective view and weigh the evidence for each carefully but personal bias will obviously factor in...accept it and move on. Feel free to post your thoughts.
4) Intangibles can and will make or break a pick. I will try and back up everything I say with evidence, but sometimes you just have to go with your gut.
5) I will not shy away from alleged "undebateable" that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I am here.
